Our approach / AI
AI in our consulting practice
We use AI systems in our pricing, packaging, and discounting work, and we design and implement those systems for clients.
An implementation includes an in-house knowledge base created from your company's own data, organizing its business information about products, customers, prices, packages, and commercial policies so your teams and the system can apply it.
Senior partners develop the commercial recommendations and do the design and implementation work. Your team operates the delivered system after the engagement.
Use in our work
The systems help us organize evidence, examine commercial data, and evaluate pricing and packaging choices. Our partners are responsible for the analysis, the recommendations, and the commercial judgment.
We adapt these systems to your commercial model, data, policies, and the work your team needs to continue doing.
Your data and your knowledge base
A past discount records what happened in one deal. It does not by itself establish the discount permitted on a new transaction. Your knowledge base keeps historical records, analytical findings, and current policy distinct, so the system applies current policy and treats history as evidence.
Depending on the engagement, the source material can include product records, package definitions, price books, customer and transaction records, contracts, usage data, discount histories, approval policies, and sales guidance. We agree which sources are relevant, available, and authorized for use.
We assess the completeness and consistency of the data and organize it in a structure that reflects your business, so product names, package definitions, and discount categories each carry one meaning in the work the system supports. The design can use selected records, documented analysis, approved definitions, or connections to authoritative sources, and it does not require every source to be copied into one repository.
The knowledge base is designed to show which information governs a decision, who approved it, when it applies, and who maintains it. Where information is missing or contradictory, the system asks for more information or refers the decision to a person. Conflicting discount policies, for example, are resolved by someone with the authority to decide which applies.
What your team can do with it
An implementation may support pricing analysis, package comparison, discount evaluation, access to approved commercial guidance, or a combination of these activities.
For each activity, we agree on the users, the information needed, the decisions being supported, and the system's authority. We also identify where a person must review or approve the result.

Design and implementation
We assess your commercial model and address any pricing, packaging, or discounting decisions that need further development. Established decisions provide the basis for implementation.
The scope defines the system and knowledge base we will deliver, the operating requirements, any connections to existing tools, and each team's responsibilities. We test the implementation against the commercial work it is intended to support.
Handoff
The handoff includes the working system and knowledge base, the agreed guidance and training, and the responsibilities for keeping the information and business rules current. You name an owner for the knowledge base, and the handoff shows your team how to add or revise information, how to check that a change has been applied correctly, and who approves policy changes.
Your team operates the system and maintains the knowledge base after the engagement. Blue Rocket does not operate the system as an ongoing managed service.
